I'm a California native, born in Oakland, raised in Berkeley, graduated from El Cerrito High School and from Chico State College.  My career as a California State Real Estate salesperson started in 1987. My designations are REALTOR and GRI.

I started my real estate business to help my family members with property management. I got my real estate sales license and joined Winters Real Estate in Alameda, CA. In order to learn the property management side of the business I joined the Rental Housing Owners of Northern Alameda County and became a director on the their board.  I worked for several years recruiting members for the organization as a speaker doing landlord training.  I bought and sold real estate in Alameda for 4 years then moved to Oakland. I was in Oakland, with Winters Realty for 10 years. 

In 2001, a few months after our 911 national disaster, I moved my business closer to home.  I left Winters Realty and joined Thomas-Chambers Company (aka Custom Financial Services), a California Mortgage corporation.  I added loans to my repertoire.  As a seasoned Realtor and now a loan agent I know how the deal is supposed to go.  My knowledge adds liquidity to any deal!
